Types of Meter
There are two types of meter used in homes in the UK
Credit meters
Most meters are credit meters which records the amount of gas you use. Gas consumption is measured in units. With most credit meters you will receive a quarterly bill. Our engineers are fully trained in all aspects of installation and repairs.
Prepayment meters
With this type of meter, you pay for your gas before you use it. Coinless prepayment ('smartcard') meters have replaced token, key and coin meters. Our engineers are fully trained in all aspects of installation and repairs.
